What Is The Payment Policy For First-Time Customers?
First time rentals are COD (either by cash, check or credit card). However, credit terms are available after a credit application is completed and
approved.
What Other Paperwork Is Required To Rent Equipment?
A valid insurance certificate naming BarnDoor Lighting Outfitters as additional insured and loss payee must be mailed or faxed to BarnDoor
Lighting prior to renting equipment. Coverage must include the replacement value of the equipment rented.
Is There Sales Tax On Equipment Rentals?
Yes, if you are renting equipment for use in Connecticut sales tax will be charged unless a CT resale certificate is presented.
Can I Rent A Van Or Truck And Drive It Myself? For insurance purposes, only approved BarnDoor drivers are permitted to drive our vehicles.
However, if you would like rental equipment delivered and picked up from a job, we will make arrangements.
What Are The Office Hours For Equipment Pickup and Return?
Our office hours are Monday-Friday (9a.m.-5p.m.), unless special arrangements have been made in advance. Rentals may be picked up after 2:00
p.m. the day prior to the start of the rental, and must be returned by 11:00 a.m. the day following the rental.
Is there a Discount for Weekly or Long Term Rentals?
Yes, a weekly rental is available at 3x the daily rate. Please call for long term rentals.
